From Poland to Cork

Stories have a way of staying with us.

I’m Tomasz Urbanski, a fantasy author originally from Poland and now based in Cork, Ireland.

I’ve always been drawn to old legends, mystery, ancient magic and the question of what ordinary people do when life asks something extraordinary of them.

My debut novel, The Awakening of the Prophecy, is the first book in The Ancient Blood Series. At the centre of it all is Sarah, a girl who wants a normal life with the people she loves.

Outside writing, I work in quality engineering and spend time with my family. And, like most readers, I’m always looking for another story worth getting lost in.
